
WORK WITH MARIA TRAN
Passionate and progressive, Maria Tran is determined and is dedicated to doing things innovatively and efficiently well. She is bold and sees things from a big picture perspective at the junction of art, screen, advocacy & the community sector. For film industry personnel, you can engage her in action directing, producing, and performing capacities. Maria is also an experienced public speaker and has exemplified her skills through workshop training and coaching 1-on-1 individuals and in group settings for teams.
Maria’s work as a director and producer has been screened at festivals all over the world. She is an independent filmmaker with a diverse portfolio between the action film genre and social documentaries.
Her credits span between Australia, China, and Vietnam, featuring in dramatic and comedic roles. Maria is a self-taught actor and is versatile in every part she takes. She currently plays the character “Suzie” in “Fat Pizza,”; Australia’s most popular comedy TV series.
Maria has a Bachelor in Psychology, Western Sydney University and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment. She has conducted over a dozen workshop classes in leadership, digital media, creativity, business and entrepreneurship, public speaking and presenting, and acting and performance training for individuals, groups, face-to-face and online.
Maria is a sort-out speaker for conferences, panels, and on occasion, the wedding ceremony as an emcee. In 2017 she was invited to speak at Tedx with “We need to Embrace Conflict.”
